  5. grand unveiling sunday 15 jan

Now beginning its fourth year, The Honey Bee Blues Club is proud to announce the unveiling of it’s first pub-side plaque. On the 15 january, Sunday afternoon at 3pm, our good friend Mark Harrison will be doing the honours before his gig at our regular haunt, The Porter Cottage. Since our launch in January 2014, the HBBC has gone from strength to strength, building to an average of 8-10 gigs a month and being responsible for promoting some of the top cutting edge blues performers from both this country and the USA. The Porter Cottage has long been one of our favourite monthly events and now, as we begin the new year with two Sunday afternoons a month, we are privileged to have been asked to place a plaque announcing the pub as an official HBBC residency. Come and help us celebrate when Blues award nominee, Mark Harrison, will be returning to The Porter Cottage for our plaque unveiling, 3.30pm, and to perform at our regular Sunday afternoon gig, 4-6pm. See y’all there, and remember…knock 3 times and say necessity sent you ! Check out Mark Harrison at - http://www.markharrisonrootsmusic.com/
